WHO WE ARE
Lake Pine Animal Hospital is a privately owned, 6-doctor small animal practice in Apex. We are not a corporate chain. We’re growing, with a steady surgical schedule, which means real room for you to grow: advanced skills, mentoring others, and lead roles as we build. We work hard, support one another, and still find time to laugh during the day. Daytime hours, no overnights.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring, surgical prep, and recovery
- Dental cleanings and dental radiographs
- Blood draws, IV catheters, lab work, and treatments
- Triage, hospitalized patient care, and client education
- Help train and support our assistants as the team grows
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- NC Registered Veterinary Technician
- Strong anesthesia and surgical support skills
- A team player who communicates well and keeps a good attitude on busy days

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Comfort and gently restrain patients during exams and procedures
- Prep exam rooms, clean, stock, and sterilize instruments
- Assist our techs and doctors with treatments, samples, and lab work
- Care for hospitalized patients: feeding, walking, and lots of TLC
- Learn something new every single day
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Positive attitude and a real desire to learn
- Good with animals AND people
- Animal handling experience is a plus. We’ll train the right person.
- Able to be on your feet all day and lift 40+ lbs with help

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Welcome every client and pet and make each visit feel personal
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and keep the day flowing
- Check clients in and out, take payments, and help with records and refills
- Work hand-in-hand with our doctors and techs to keep everyone on the same page
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Warm, upbeat, and a true team player
- Customer service experience. Veterinary experience is a plus, not a must. We’ll train the right person.
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software
- Calm under pressure, organized, and dependable
